Parramatta Twenty25 was developed over an 18 month period incorporating the findings of a great deal of research, including over 400 local, state and national policies and plans. It is also based on extensive consultation with residents and stakeholders through a consultation process called Dreaming Parramatta.
This research and input has resulted in the development of a clear vision and corresponding set of ‘Directions’ towards which Parramatta wants to head. These Directions are supported by a set of Strategies for government, business, the community and other stakeholders who have a role in our future.
Parramatta Twenty25 has been divided into three components:
PART I: The Strategic Plan: Provides an overview of the destinations towards which we aspire and the strategies required to get there.- PART II: The Strategies in Detail: Provides greater detail on the strategies and how they are to be delivered. It describes the measures that will be used to identify if we are heading on the right track.
- PART III: Behind the Destinations: Provides a summary of the major challenges we face for each destination, our current status and the priorities identified by the community.
This information has been disseminated throughout the community via a community and media awareness campaign.
